The first half of 2015 has been very busy. Two solo shows that took
up most of the first 6 months preparing for and now the second half
of 2015 looks to be just as busy with commissions. On the verge of
completing a new piece for the Old Rock House, will then jump right
into a large canvas of the new KDHX building, in addition to the
piece pictured above, which will eventually be Off Broadway.
At the end of this week the band CaveofswordS will be playing
at the City Museum and I’ll be there photographing for a future
painting.
This is just the first grouping of work that will be keeping me busy,
there’s more on the way. This is great, I love staying busy, especially
with painting but there is one little problem. The problem of Time.
Sometimes there just isn’t enough Time to go around. Thankfully,
those who I’m working with are very understanding and
accommodating when it comes to time. Many of the pieces I’m
working on are large and I can be amazingly stubborn if something
doesn’t look the way I want it to look. I’ll spend countless hours,
sometimes turning into days or even weeks of working and then
re-working one small aspect of a painting. To do that requires
Time and as we all know, Time is running out.
